Welcome to the Red Sea! This map mod will connect the ProMods ME road from Taba south into a whole new area on ETS including cities up and down the Red Sea coastline. Having flown over the Red Sea many times in the real world, it's quite a beautiful area full of history, trade, wonderful towns, and amazing hospitable people. This area deserves representation in our vibrant ETS2 community and of course, provide a nice haul from Somalia or Eritrea up the Red Sea into the rest of Europe.

I originally was just making this map for my own personal use, but what fun is that! However, I'm changing my approach to casually editing it to having a daily routine to work on this project. I could always use some help too, especially from those experienced with modeling and asset management and it would be nice to have a co-developer in the event life takes course and I run into limited time in the future. The image below shows a preliminary plan with realistic "starter map project" goals. In the future, we can expand to Ethiopia and South Sudan and who knows the potential as the road networks in East Africa are not only simple to build but very fun. Precision and detail to the 1:19 scale is given as well.

20 MAY 2020:

- Discord and ProMods WIP Forum Post made to engage the community

- Road to Nuweiba, Red Sea Map's first city, complete. Construction on Nuweiba is currently in progress. I will most likely release it once Nuweiba is complete to provide a teaser for what's to come.

30 AUG 2020:

- Red Sea Map is officially released. Version 1.0 contains the road connection south of ProMods ME 2.50's Taba, the city of Nuweiba, and the small town of Dahab. Special thanks to our beta testing team who worked diligently and hard this past week to get this map released to patient fans! Expand your ETS2 map, we'll keep it going down through Africa!

ProMods Addon: Red Sea Map v1.4 - (1.43.x)

The Red Sea Map adds territories and countries on the Red Sea coast to the game, such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Sudan.
On the map you will find endless deserts and the sea coast, chic resort towns such as Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh and poor villages of Sudan, new companies and new cargo.

Unique countries: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Sudan
Own companies, cargo and models
The map is an addition to ProMods Middle East (Middle East)
the presence of ProMods and ProMods Middle East is mandatory
It is mandatory to have all DLC cards

Red Sea- this map mod will connect the ProMods ME road from Taba south into a whole new area on ETS2 including cities up and down the Red Sea coastline. The Red Sea Map (RSM) is made for ETS2 and is an addon to ProMods’ Middle East. The Red Sea Map will expand your Egypt south of Taba and continue into East Africa.

Features Red Sea Map:
- map includes cities along the Red Sea coast: Nuweiba, Sharm el Sheikh, Dahab, St. Catherine, El Tor (beta) and and connects this region to the ProMods Middle-East map across the road from southern Taba;
- This area provides a good route from Somalia or Eritrea via the Red Sea to the rest of Europe;
- requires all map DLC's;
- requires ProMods v2.57.
