Beschreibung
This mod does not provide snow, it only enables wheel slip. You need a separate snow mod to have snow.
This mod is the same with Physics 4.2 but this Snow Edition just adds wheel slip effect to simulate driving in the snow as in real life.
If you have driven in the show in real life before, you should do the same with this mod and you'll be safe.
If you have never driven in the snow in real life before, you need to practice and go slowly or it won't be pretty.
This wheel slip effect is only applied to your truck only. The AI will not get the effect. So don't expect the AI to do a Tokyo Drift like you.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
- Give this mod TOP priority above all other mods.
- Enable "Physics Camera" and slide its bar to max.
- "Trailer Stability" set to min.
- You may need to test to re-adjust the steering sensitivity/non linearity depending on your controller.
- For 900 degree wheels, 0% sensitivity and 0 - 5% non-linearity.
- For 270 degree wheels, 50% sensitivity and 100% non-linearity.
- "Braking intensity" recommended at 10 - 15% for Logitech Steering Wheels.
- For users who use a keyboard or joypad to steer, you may need to test and re-adjust the scale.
OPTIONAL SET UP
If you want to experience even smoother and less twitchy steering, do the following:
1. Find a file named "Control.txt" in your profile folder (My document > Euro Truck > Profile). And copy it to a safe place just in case. If you don't like the change you can take the old file back.
2. Open the file, find a line that says :
"mix steering `dsteering - (pow(normalize(abs(sel(c_jisteer, -j_steer?0, j_steer?0)), c_steer_dz), (1.0 + c_steer_func * 0.5)) * sign(sel(c_jisteer, -j_steer?0, j_steer?0)))`"
3. Replace that line with the following line:
"mix steering `dsteering - (0.58 * normalize(abs(j_steer?0), c_steer_dz) + (0.42 * (c_steer_func / 2)) * pow(normalize(abs(j_steer?0), c_steer_dz), 4)) * sign(sel(c_jisteer, -j_steer?0, j_steer?0))`"
4. Save the file. And run the game normally.
5. Set the "non-linearity" and "sensitivity" to 100%.
6. It's done. Drive and see if you like the new steering.
This formula makes your steering wheel act like a 1080 degree wheel (real life truck). This formula works best with 900 degree wheels like G25/G27/G29.
COMPATIBILITY :
- Game patch 1.28 fully compatible.
- NOT compatible with any other physics mod.
- NOT compatible with my "Driver Seat" mod. (The feature already included)
- All original SCS trucks fully compatible.
- Fully Compatible with Scania RJL.

09. Dezember, 21:53 UhrVersion 4.2.11 Snow Edition (Support for new Scanias 1.30)
This mod is the same with Physics 4.2.11 normal edition, but this Snow Edition just adds wheel slip effect to simulate driving in the snow as in real life. It is recommended to use with my “Alive Traffic Snow Edition”.
FEATURES IN WINTER EDITION:
1. Wheel slip when turning at high speed (you should experience a lot of under-steering from 80 kmh and higher)
2. Slower acceleration rate due to the wheel slip.
3. Slower hill climbing due to the wheel slip.
4. The wheel slip effect is NOT applied to the AI vehicles.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
– Give this mod TOP priority above all other mods.
– Enable “Physics Camera” and slide its bar to max.
– “Trailer Stability” set to min.
– You may need to test to re-adjust the steering sensitivity/non linearity depending on your controller.
– For 900 degree wheels, 0% sensitivity and 0 – 50% non-linearity.
– For 270 degree wheels, 50% sensitivity and 100% non-linearity.
– “Braking intensity” recommended at 0 – 30% for Logitech Steering Wheels.
– For users who use a keyboard or joypad to steer, you may need to test and re-adjust the scale.
COMPATIBILITY:
– Game patch 1.30, 1.28, 1.27 compatible.
– NOT compatible with any other physics mod.
– Compatible with my “Air Ride A Series” mod. (The Air Ride must be higher)
– All original SCS trucks fully compatible.
– Fully Compatible with Scania RJL. -

” I’ve tried too many physics mods so far, but this one is the best calibrated and the most realistic. Thank you for making my game experience way much better” — R-Line
” This mod is the most realistic physic mod I’ve ever tried. The way how the cabin moves when I’m driving over diffrent kind of roads, inside and outside and in combination with the pneumatic seat. And it works with SCS trucks as well as with modded trucks. A promo video which shows you a new mod and teaches you some usefull things about driving at the same time. Isn’t that great? So, for all the wannabe truckers out there, watch this video. Maybe you can learn something” — HurricanMC
——————————————————————————————-Facts about real life heavy trucks :
1. The front wheel suspension, the cabin and the seat are very active and sensitive, they move up & down to counter and absorb shocks and vibration all the time. So real life trucks are no where static.
2. Newer models of trucks do their best to prevent back injuries and protect health of the drivers, so a good suspension is one that is very active, very soft but firm enough not to send the driver high up.
If you compare the 1st video with the 2nd and 3rd, you will see that this mod simulates the behavior very close.
Please note that the effects are varie depending on your braking intensity set in the game option menu. In the 1st video the braking intensity is set to minimum. If you set to 90 – 100% the effects will be the same as in the 3rd video.
MAIN FEATURES
– Realistic, agressive, firm & heavy cabin behavior
– Realistic, soft suspension
– Realistic, soft, firm seat air suspension
– Realistic, agressive, firm & heavy cabin roll
– Greatly improved maneuverability of 8×4, 6×4, 6×2, 6×2/4,. A lot smoother steering. (Since version 4.2.1)
– Slightly reduced low speed brake strength for smoother braking. (Since 4.2.6)USER INSTRUCTIONS
– Give this mod TOP priority above all other mods.
– Enable “Physics Camera” and slide its bar to max.
– “Trailer Stability” set to min.
– You may need to test to re-adjust the steering sensitivity/non linearity depending on your controller.
– For 900 degree wheels, 100% sensitivity and 25% non-linearity.
– For 270 degree wheels, 50% sensitivity and 100% non-linearity.
– You may need to readjust your braking intensity.
– For users who use a keyboard or joypad to steer, you may need to test and re-adjust the scale.COMPATIBILITY :
– Game patch 1.30 fully compatible including the new Scania S & R.
– NOT compatible with any other physics mod.
– All original SCS trucks fully compatible.
– Fully Compatible with Scania RJL.
